As the Heritage Collective’s inaugural artist in residence, Angela Rossen has been busy across the community in Cottesloe. Funded by Lotterywest, Angela has conducted workshops across residents at Marine Views, Riversea and at Shine, exploring the unique marine environments of our coastline.

In September, Angela immersed herself at Cottesloe Primary School, engaging with many local young children exploring painting skills, flora and fauna of the local ecology, with all participants adding to a huge marine-scape mural for exhibtion in early 2025.

Angela brings her creativity to a series of free workshops in the Makerspace in the school holiday period, as well as interacting with artists from local disability organisations, DADAA and Rocky Bay.

The outcomes across all these interactions will form an exhibition in January 2025, delivered in partnership with the wonderful Linton and Kay Gallery on Marine Parade, Cottesloe. More details to follow!
