Join senior pattern maker Alice Cliff for a two-day class to cut and sew a ‘Kesta dress’ together.
The Paper Cloth Cut ‘Kesta dress’ is a relaxed drawstring-waist dress with two sleeve length and cuff options, designed by Alice. See images below. Choose between a split yoke on bias to highlight your stripe fabric or pattern, or a classic full yoke. With patch pockets and a centre front placket for snaps or buttons, you have plenty of opportunity to colour block!
This is a two-day class, 10am–4pm each day. Suitable for adults and teenagers, sewing level beginner to intermediate.
The printed pattern will be provided on the first day. Suitable for sizes 8-22 AUS/UK (4-18 US, 36-50 EUR). Don’t worry, Alice will be there to guide you, step by step.
When: Wednesday 12 + Thursday 13 February (see program below)
Time: 10am–4pm each day
Where: The Makerspace
Cost: $275 per person +GST, includes Kesta Dress pattern valued at $20.

Day 1: cut out your dress and sew the placket, pockets and sleeves.
