Book your child’s spot soon to give them the opportunity to explore a wide range of new techniques and unleash their creative potential.\nSessions are held from Monday to Thursday\, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Each class is uniquely structured and taught by Karen Sabitay from ARTPOD – Creative Arts Centre. With a maximum of 15 per class\, Karen provides personalised instruction to ensure that each student receives the attention they need to develop their skills.\nAll levels and abilities are welcome\, and materials and aprons will be provided. DESCRIPTION:Join acclaimed artist Ross Potter for an engaging drawing session\, where he will guide you through pencil-on-paper techniques. This hands-on workshop offers the opportunity to refine your observational skills and create your own artwork under Ross’s expert instruction. \nOver the course of two hours\, participants of all skill levels and ages will explore the nuances of drawing. \nBasic materials will be provided\, but you are encouraged to bring your own sketchbook\, pencils\, and paper. DESCRIPTION:Join senior pattern maker Alice Cliff for a two-day class to cut and sew a ‘Kesta dress’ together.\nThe Paper Cloth Cut ‘Kesta dress’ is a relaxed drawstring-waist dress with two sleeve length and cuff options\, designed by Alice. See images below. Choose between a split yoke on bias to highlight your stripe fabric or pattern\, or a classic full yoke. With patch pockets and a centre front placket for snaps or buttons\, you have plenty of opportunity to colour block! \nThis is a two-day class\, 10am–4pm each day. Suitable for adults and teenagers\, sewing level beginner to intermediate. \nThe printed pattern will be provided on the first day. Suitable for sizes 8-22 AUS/UK (4-18 US\, 36-50 EUR). Don’t worry\, Alice will be there to guide you\, step by step. \nWhen: Wednesday 12 + Thursday 13 February (see program below)\nTime: 10am–4pm each day\nWhere: The Makerspace\nCost: $275 per person +GST\, includes Kesta Dress pattern valued at $20.\nMorning & afternoon tea will be provided.
