Curtin Heritage and The Heritage Collective are proud to acknowledge the generous support of Lotterywest whose funding has been a significant contributor to the establishment of our Arts Makerspace and arts and culture program.

With this grant, we have been able to establish an inclusive and engaging arts and culture program for our immediate and local community. The funding has supported the setup of our Artist in residence program as well as the purchase of equipment along with fixtures and optimising of the art spaces.

Creative participation is proven to contribute positively to a person’s wellbeing. We believe arts and culture activities can create wonderful opportunities for meaningful connection - across every age and ability. This support from Lotterywest has enabled us to promote a program and create a space that contributes to personal and community wellbeing through creativity.
