There are so many fun and creative projects you can make to upcycle your old jeans!

If you hop onto Pinterest and Madelyn’s Instagram @madelynjane_designs, you’ll find all sorts of ideas. It’s a trend gaining popularity because most of us have old jeans at home, and thrift stores have plenty of denim available, making it easy and affordable to source materials.

Join designer Madelyn Jane and learn how to make a cool tote bag or other bag by repurposing your old denim clothing using the pockets, the waistbands, the legs, the zips and buttons and belt loops. Along the way you will learn sewing tips and innovative ways of making the most of every part of your jeans, so there’s no waste at all.

Grab a pair of your old jeans or run to your local charity shop and let’s get started!

Suitable for ages 12–17 years and beginners to intermediates. Sewing machines, scissors, pins & thread supplied.

Free to attend. Bookings required. Limited to 6 places.

Cost: $Free
